Cadets

The Club wishes to promote sailing to the younger generation and has 4 training Optibat's for those younger members of the club up to the age of 10, and also has 3 Topper Dinghies.

We have been supported through grants from "Awards for All" and "The Local Network Fund" which enabled us to purchase two Topper Magno training boats. The Magno is out on the water quite a bit for use in the Halfmoon Trophy on a Wednesday night and some Sunday racing, also the Magno's are used in training on our practice day which is a Saturday.

Practice/training sessions are usually held on Saturdays during the sailing season at high tide, therefore having the shelter and protection of the harbour wall.
